It’s indeed a commendable job, I congratulate whole heartedly all the participants for doing such a selfless service to the society without much publicity which our current central govt. is doing opposite to it, only publicity no action.
Dear all involved keep up the good work, definitely you will make the change in society. If you continue to do such service to the city I am sure once again Mangalore will become neat, calm and peace lovers’ paradise without any prejudice against any community.
As usual, great report by this portal. As the saying goes, one picture is worth a thousand words. The photo showing Lady Goschen hospital wall pretty sums up the ugly reality of mangaluru politics drenched in communal politics. Look at the wall and see how there are posters on ‘saha baalve’ event whose only agenda was to attack, slander and project hindu organizations as terrorist organizations!!!! Remember, these groups preach us on tolerance while littering the town without any hesitation!!! On the other hand, we have a bunch of volunteers going out week after week, cleaning our city streets to… Read more »
Dear readers,
I appreciate the good work of mission for carrying on the Mahatma Gandhi vision of clean India. I would have expected at least one member from the BJP MLA,MLC or MP would have participated in the programme without invitation.
I would also like to request the Mangalore corporation to lay down some strict rule of law against the wall posters, buting etc. There should be some accountability.
The mission should remove the stigma of untouchability, like Mahatma by taking up cleaning the dump yards, toilets, scavenging etc…

Capt.Karnik has been regularly attending these events. Even Nalina Kumaara did attend a few even though I would have expected him to attend far more!! Read earlier reports to educate yourself! By the way, where are the Congress MLAs and MPs? Don’t they want to see a cleaner mangaluru? Is politics more important than doing some social service? Also, what about your community? How come they are missing any positive, constructive activities?… Read more »
Is politics more important than doing some social service? Also, what about your community? How come they are missing any positive, constructive activities? -Atheist Mr.Original Sir,I am not talking about symbolic presence but active participation without invitation. We know they are only good for ‘selfie with jaddu’ with pre arranged ‘kudda’. To be smart city Mangalore is ruled by BJP since last two decade. The city must have much ahead of rest of India. But Sangh parivar has made its own presence felt by pub attack, morning mist attack, love jihad and cow carrying truck. There are 37 attempts from the this NGO to… Read more »
