Mangaluru: President of the Akhila Bharata Hindu Mahasabha, Pranavananda Swamiji held a press meet at Kadri Jogi Math here, on November 5.

After visiting slain flower vendor Prashant Poojary’s house in Moodbidri, Pranavananda Swamiji addressed the mediapersons inMangaluru and said that a compensation of Rs 10 should be given to Prashant’s family because he was the bread winner of the family. “In Prashant Poojary’s murder case, the police have played a vital role in nabbing the culprits, which is appreciable, but the ministers did not visit Prashant Poojary’s house. When Kabeer was killed while he was trafficking cows, the government gave a compensation of Rs 10 lakh to his family, but when a Hindu youth was murdered, the government did not announce any compensation to his family. Why this double standard between the Hindus and Muslims?” he questioned. He also said that the state government should announce Rs 10 lakh to Prashant’s family, adding, “If the government fails to provide compensation, we need an answer on why it will not do so.”

Further, commenting on the statement of chief minister Siddaramaiah on eating beef, Pranavananda said that the Hindu Mahasabha will send the CM, pork for his beef remarks. “The statement of Siddaramaiah is the cause for violence in the state because his statement has hurt the sentiments of the Hindus who worship cows and it is a call to those who slaughter cows to continue their work without fear. The Hindu Mahasabha has already sent a letter to the Government to permit to file case againstSiddaramaiah. Being a chief minister, he should not comment on beef eating,” he said.

He further said that the Mahasabha has already started sending pork to the chief minister from Vijayapura and Mysuru, and will be sending it from all the districts of the state. “It is our way of protesting against the CM’s statement on beef eating.”

Commenting on the statement of Shah Rukh Khan on intolerance, Pranavananda said that Shah Rukh Khan lives in India but his mind is in Pakistan. “If he thinks that India is an intolerant nation, then it is better for him to leave India and live in Pakistan. India is on the verge of becoming a permanent member of the UN but some countries including Pakistan are trying to derail it. There is a conspiracy to show India as an intolerant nation. When hundreds were killed in the 1993 Mumbai serials blasts, where was Shah Rukh Khan? When Mumbai was attacked on November 26, where was Shah Rukh?” he questioned.

When asked about the state government’s plans to celebrate Tippu Jayanti, Pranavananda replied, “We will not allow the celebration of Tippu Jayanti. When we were planning to observe Nathuram Godse’s death anniversary, the government did not allow us. We will not allow the celebration of Tippu Jayanti at any cost,” he warned.

This is just getting so silly – just like small school boys fighting over nothing! This mudslinging back and forth is not going to get us anywhere! What happened all these years when each one ate what they wanted and we were all at peace. So, why has this now become such an issue when there are more serious issues facing our nation? What about the rapists who rape small children! They go scot-free – or maybe on bail. There is no policing on this issue of raping and/or eve teasing, but police have now the right and also the… Read more »

Dear readers,

In the center Modi led government has opened a ‘Pink revolution’ exports to serve the foreign market worth market value of $5 billion sacrificing ‘Gow Mata’ by starving Indians.

Now imported Parmanda swamiji don’t want to left behind wanted to serve the 5 crores ‘Christian’ minority with ‘Parmanda door to door pork delivery service’. Soon we will seen him driving Rolls Royce back and forth.
