Mangaluru: In a shocking incident Alwyn Fernandes (27), a resident of Kalmady, Malpe has allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in a rehabilitation centre.
Alwyn had allegedly attempted suicide a few days ago and he was rescued and admitted to a hospital. Later, he was sent to a rehabilitation centre, where he has allegedly committed suicide.
He is the son of late Joseph Fernandes and late Theresa Fernandes. The exact reason behind the extreme step is yet to be ascertained. Alwyn is survived by his brother Lancy Fernandes.
A case has been registered in the Kankanady Police Station.
