Mangaluru: Rotary Club and City Primary Health Centre (CPHC), in collaboration with KMC Attavar, organised a ‘Free Medical Camp’ at St Sebastian School, Bendur here, on March 4.
Headmaster of St Sebastian School, Sr Mercin welcomed the gathering. Convener of Rotary Club, Stanly D’Costa said, “The children here come from poor background and we wanted to help them. With this noble thought we started our efforts by providing uniforms and books. Since these poor children often neglect any health issues, we have organised this free medical camp to give medical assistance to them as well as the adults.”
He further said, “The doctors will screen the children for any disease and provide free medicines as well. If this camp is beneficial for the children and others, then we will continue to provide medical service in the coming years as well.”
