Mangaluru: This pair of attractive Macaques were brought to Pilikula from Parashinakadavu Zoo in Kerala. This rare species is mostly found in the Western Ghats. Other places where these animals are found are Nithya Haridhwarana forest, ‘Silent Valley’ in Kerala and Agumbe.
These macaques are usually spotted on tall trees and are always in a group.
The new arrival of the Lion-tailed macaques will be on display after a week.
