Mangaluru: A lorry laden with fish knocked down a scooter at Jeppinamogaru on the southern outskirts on Tuesday. The rider was fatally injured and died the soon after.
Mohammed Basheer (35), a resident of Madaga in Deralakatter, had arrived in the city on work and was on his way back towards home riding his scooter.
The lorry hit him from behind and knocked his scooter down. A case has been registered in the rural police station in Maroli.
