Mangaluru: A man was knocked down by a sand-laden lorry near Padil Bridge here on March 18.
According to the locals, a man riding a bicycle was knocked down and run over by a sand-laden lorry, killing him on the spot.
The deceased has been identified as Basavaraj, around 40-year-old. He is said to be a resident of Veeranagar Padil and an employee of Yenepoya school.
The Kankanady Rural police have reached the spot. A case has been registered in the Mangaluru Rural Police Station.
