Mangaluru: The completed concrete road of 45th Port ward, Subhash Nagar Main Road was inaugurated by the MLA J R Lobo here on January 30.
The concrete road work was undertaken at a cost of Rs 16 lakh with the funds of the MLA and council members.
After inaugurating the road, Lobo addressing the gathering said, “I have fulfilled the demands of the people. You have elected me as your representative and my dream is to make my constituency a model one with all the basic facilities such as pure drinking water, modern drainage system and good roads.” He also assured to develop the Hoige Bazar Road from the Railway tracks to Marigudi temple in the coming days.
Council member Abdul Latif, congress leaders Ramanada Poojary, Krithin Kumar, Lalitha Punja, Savitri Shetty and others were also present.
