Mangaluru / Udupi: More and more complaints are being filed against author Prof K S Bhagwan, who had allegedly made some remarks against Hindu deities and scriptures, in police stations across DK and Udupi districts.
First it was at Puttur. Now Sarapadi Ashok Shetty, president of the Vishwa Hindu Parishat’s Bantwal unit has complained to the town police and sought legal action against him.
Similarly, Sunil K R has complained to the town police in Udupi that the feelings of the community have been hurt by the author’s remarks.
Reports have been received that similar complaints have been received by different stations in both the districts like Padubidri, Karkala, Hebri and Kundapur.

People may disagree with his comments but free speech is protected under the constitution! Prof. Bhagwan can say anything he wants – why should others pay attention to his comments – just disregard and go on! There are more important things in life to deal with than someone’s opinion on religion and God!
