President of CREDAI, Pusparaj Jain, welcomed the gathering. Addressing the gathering, Nazir said that builders have played a vital role in the development of the city. “They have the plan to make Mangaluru a smart city and have requested to have a seminar in this regard.” He further said that Dakshina Kannada district is very much popular in the field of education, health, discipline, construction and industries compared to other districts in the state. “In 6 years, CREDAI members have succeeded to have an office in Mangaluru.”

He also said, “Due to some reasons, we did not get the opportunity to do the MUDA layout development concept. CREDAI will follow zoning regulations without deviation and violation while developing the city.”

The state president of CREDAI Nagaraj Reddy said, “This is another milestone in the history of CREDAI that they have their own office in Mangaluru. It is a great achievement that within 6 years the CREDAI Mangaluru chapter has its own office. It is an asset for the members of CREDAI and also for the future generations. Dakshina Kannada is a pioneer in creating banks and educational Institutions. When there is any problem related to construction, the representatives from Mangaluru chapter always come to Bengaluru to solve the problems. Mangaluru is a small city but has more than 40 builders providing quality apartments to their customers. Simultaneously, big time builders have also started coming to Mangaluru but they will not be as successful because the local builders are very much confident in their venture.” He invited the builders to come to Bengaluru to extend their construction projects because they are very good in delivering quality buildings on time to their clients.

Jagadish Babu, Sri Ram, K C Naik, Siraj Ahmed, Razak, Rohan Monteiro, Srinath Hebbar and others were also present. Treasurer Credai Vinod Pinto delivered the vote of thanks. Manohar Prasad compered the programme.
