He further said that the celebrations are marked by ritualistic respect to the guru and Guru Puja. The Guru Principle is said to be a thousand times more active on the day of Gurupurnima than on any other day. The word guru is derived from two words, the Sanskrit root gu means darkness or ignorance, and ru denotes the remover of that darkness. Therefore, a guru is one who removes the darkness of our ignorance. Gurus are believed by many to be the most necessary part of life. On this day, disciples offer Puja (worship) or pay respect to their guru (spiritual guide). Indian academics celebrate this day by thanking their teachers as well as remembering past teachers and scholars.
He also said that we do not have a Hindu Channel to raise our voice against the atrocities on Hindus. We need to have a Hindu Channel and the same will be discussed. We will also bring awareness among the people about the significance of Gurupurnima.
State vice president of Sri Rama Sene, Kumar Malemar speaking on the occasion said that people do not know much about Gurupurunima. On July 31, we are celebrating Gurupurnima and we are trying to bring awareness among the Hindus. We need more TV channels to highlight the significance of Gurupurnima. He urged the mediapersons to give wide publicity so that more and more people will take part in the celebrations on July 31.
Hindu Jana Jagrati Samiti DK district leader Vijay Kumar speaking on the occasion said, “There are number of atrocities on Hindus but we are unable to raise our voices.  Sanatana Dharma is teaching to respect the Gurus.  Hindu Janajagrati Samiti is working hard to bring awareness among the Hindu community about Gurupurnima. If we need to achieve our goal we need a Guru to guide us and we are achieving our goals under the able guidance of our gurus. Gurupurnima was one of the most important festivals in the nation. People celebrated it irrespective of caste or creed because in this country, the most important thing was not wealth or money. Knowledge or knowing was considered the highest value. A teacher or guru was considered the highest entity in society because knowing is the most important thing.

He is right. India needs a tv channel to voice and support Hindu conservatives. Here in US, we have talk radio and Fox news exclusively promoting Conservative Christian views. In India, the balance is missing.

“In India, the balance is missing.” CLAIMS DUPLICATE PAIMAAM.

YES, THAT IS WHY MODI WON THE ELECTIONS. IF THE BALANCE WERE THERE, MODI WON’T HAVE WON THE ELECTIONS AT ALL! THANKS TO IMBALANCE, AND IMBALANCE BREEDS IMBALANCE AS IS THE CASE IN INDIA NOW.

Since you are THE CHANNEL which solely addresses such issues and THE COUNTRY WANTS TO KNOW (like Arnaba Goswami keeps parroting 24 x 7 x 365), could you list out a few dozen… Read more »
