Mangaluru: Rohan Corporation and Global Star Realters held the inauguration ceremony of ‘Micasa’, its 18th completed commercial and residential project, at Bejai here on July 11.
The completed project ‘Micasa’ was inaugurated by the senior Indian National Congress leader, Oscar Fernandes by cutting the ribbon.The traditional lamp was then lit by Oscar Fernandes, District Minister In-charge Ramanath Rai and MLC Ivan D’Souza. Chairman of Rohan Corporation Rohan Monteiro welcomed the guests with floral bouquets. Fr Ravi Santosh Kamath of Fatima Retreat House and Parish Priest of Bejai Fr Wilson invoked God’s blessings.
Addressing the gathering, Oscar Fernandes said, “Today Rohan Corporation, under the leadership of Rohan Monteiro, has completed its 18th project. “Micasa” which means ‘my home’ in Spanish and is located in the most beautiful place. By inaugurating a second project in the same location, Rohan has beautified the Bejai area and has attempted to reach the sky.”
MP Nalin Kumar Kateel speaking on the occasion said that Rohan has beautified the locality by raising two buildings in both sides of the Bejai road. “Mangalore is the fastest growing city and is in 4th place in the country. Builders have played a vital role in the development of the city. Let Rohan and Rajendra Kumar reach greater heights and shine globally,” he said.
Anil Hegde, Mahabala, Mohan, Suresh Kumar, Akhil Uchil and Swarnedra were felicitated for their part in the construction of the building. MUDA Chairman Kodijal Ibrahim and Corporator Lancy Pinto also spoke on the occasion. Deon Monteiro delivered the vote of thanks. Sahil Zahir compered the programme.

There is a great deal of Organization required in Mangalore to embark upon these many projects and complete them satisfactorily.
