Spread the love

Mangaluru: A Farewell Meet was hosted at the Mangalore Press Club to say goodbye to Brijesh Shetty, who has been at the helm as Manager of Press Club for three years and three months. It was Brijesh who kept the journos informed about the activities that were taking place at the Press Club; informed everyone about the press meet through emails promptly; notified about any changes about programme schedules etc etc- and he did his job very efficiently, with dedication and sincerity.

Brijesh was always friendly and respected everyone that walked into the Press Club. Leaving a job is not always easy but it has to be done sometimes. And in the case of Brijesh, when better opportunity struck he had no option than to quit this job for better prospects. Team Mangalorean wishes him lots of success on his further way and endeavours. We know that he had to take this step for his personal development but still it leaves us sad. We will miss him as a friend more than a employee of Press Club.

During the farewell function, Ronald Fernandes-President of Mangalore Press Club spoke about the hard work, dedication and commitment rendered to the organization by Brijesh. Other journos also extended their thoughts, feelings and their association with Brijesh, and one main quality of Brijesh they all mentioned was that, he was always a kind, helpful colleague with an open ear for listening, very patience towards handling any work and always smiling and friendly. Brijesh was the best manager one could ask for- and no doubt everyone will miss him. Most of all he was a competent and valuable employee.

In his farewell speech, Brijesh thanked all the board members of Press Club, the journos and well-wishers for all the support and love shown towards during his 3 years and 3 months tenure as Manager of Press Club.
