Mangaluru: Seven people including four women were arrested by the Kadripolice from an apartment in Kudkorigudda here on April 11.
The arrested are Prakash a resident of Attavar, Praveen from Bikkarnakatte andManju, a native of Gadag. The women who have also been arrested are from Mangaluru, Subramanya and Bengaluru.
According to the police, after getting a tip off, the Kadri police led by Police Inspector Nagaraj and his team raided the apartment in Kudkorigudda. A woman from Sakaleshpur had rented a flat on the third floor 3 months back. As soon as the police came to know about the illegal activities going on in the flat, they raided the flat and took all the seven present there into custody. They will be produced before the magistrate.
A case has been registered in Kadri police station.
Question:Why is that women are allowed to cover their face when arrested for crime. They are guilty as the men but identity is hidden. When a man drinks to much alcohol called, Double standard. alcoholic drunk by the community. When woman is drunk,called abused by men.
Prostitution should be legal. Who cares what two adults choose to do in their privacy? Police should focus on more important things than going after these cases.
