Mangaluru: The body of Roshan Kumar (32), who was missing from Kunjathbail, was found in the Palghuni River here, on November 3.
Roshan was missing since November 2. According to his friends and neighbours, on the evening of November 2, he had a fight with his family. Immediately after the fight at around 8:00 pm, he is said to have hurriedly stormed out of his house on his bike. Sensing danger, his friends followed him on their bikes, but they could not catch up with him. Soon, they found his bike parked near the Maravoor Bridge with the engine still running.
The locals along with the ward corporator informed the police and fire tenders. The fire tenders reached the spot and with the help of the locals searched for Roshan in the water till 9:30 pm but could not find any trace of him. As it was too dark, the search operation was suspended and was continued on November 3. At around 3:00 pm, Roshan’s body was spotted on the opposite side of the river.
Roshan Kumar was a resident of Devinagar, Kunjathbail.
