Mangaluru: Remember hot and raunchy Serbian origin Natasa Stankovic? She shook a leg along with Ajay Devgn on ” Aiyo Ji Hamri Atariya Mein” in Prakash Jha’s political thriller “Satyagraha-Democracy Under Fire”. This babe was also locked behind the four walls of the “Big Boss 8 House” show- but few months back got evicted from the “House”. For those uninitiated, Natasa is an accomplished ballet dancer, a model, and starlet from Serbia, who has also worked on various TV commercials and has performed many stage shows.
This hottie and gorgeous model is in town to judge the Inter-School and College Dance Contest organized by Sizzling Guys Dance Academy-Mangaluru in association with Fashion ABCD, Mangaluru and other sponsors at City Centre Mall, today (5 September) from 5pm onwards. Team Mangalorean met Natasa Stankovic and her manager Sujay Parikh when they arrived at their hotel, for an exclusive interview.
Natasa Stankovic is a model, director, producer, dancer and actress, working in Bollywood. Born in 1977 in Serbia, she attended Ballet Dance School for seventeen years, then she started modeling in Serbia. She graduated from the University of Arts, Department of Photography and Video in Bucharest, Romania, in 2001. In 2007, she finished her postgraduate studies in photography at the University of Arts in Belgrade, Serbia. In 2005, Natasa Stankovic and Lucian Muntean founded Lunam Docs – an independent documentary film production dedicated to documentary film making on human rights and social justice, around the world, with special attention paid to children rights and child labour.
Their two documentary films include Punam (2005) and Journey of a Red Fridge (2007). The great support and the feedback of the international public to the film Punam, motivated Natasa and Lucian to establish the Punam Fund (2007). The Punam Fund is dedicated to the elimination of and fight against child labour. For the time being, the activities of the Punam Fund are aimed at the children featured in the films Punam and Journey of a Red Fridge, that is to say, about the children that work in the Bhaktapur region in Nepal and the children that work in the Himalayas of Nepal. She came to Mumbai in 2012 and started advertisements for Johnson and Johnson. She has appeared in various advertisements including one for Durex with Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh. On September 2014, she started dating Indian television actor Aly Goni, but lately broke up their relationship.
Stankovic came to India as a model, then she did various television advertisements. In 2014, she had a cameo appearance in Akshay Kumar’s film Holiday. She participated in the eighth season of Indian reality show Bigg Boss 8. Due to some Bigg Boss house rules, Stankovic started to learn Hindi language to stay at Bigg Boss house-this Serbian damsel who made an entry into the Bigg Boss house to get some popularity and to learn Hindi got evicted from the show on 19 October 2014.She was definitely a favourite amongst the viewers as she was the 3 rd celebrity to be evicted from the house! The sexy babe who couldn’t speak Hindi entered the controversial show to learn the language as well. Initially, everyone including the host of the show Salman Khan liked her a lot. Natasa was even considered to be the Elli Avram of the 8th season.
Unfortunately, Natasa’s coldness and a rather aloof attitude inside was disappointing. At first, she found it difficult to make friends but even after four weeks, viewers got to see very little personality of this beautiful damsel. Is the language barrier preventing her from giving her best to the show? Nobody knows it, but this could possibly be one of the reasons for her eviction. The tricky nomination method of one of Big Boss 8 week got Natasa nominated along with Gautam, Soni, Karishma and Puneet, among others. The rest of the members were quite active inside the house. The hyper-active bunch had always become a part of any argument or controversy. But Natasa was the only contestant who came across as a silent spectator.
The Serbian siren made her first appearance in Amitabh Bachchan’s Satyagraha. Besides being a popular model, Natasa Stankovic is also a well trained ballet dancer. Lately she featured herself in Rapper Badshah’s debut single DJ Waley Babu, which was released on 26 June, 2015 by Sony Music. DJ Waley Babu-is a catchy tune with a hook will stick to your mind for a long time! is looking gorgeous in short colourful dresses and has adorned black framed spectacles throughout the video. Her fans believe she is definitely bringing the naughty spectacle look back!
Commenting on her look and being a part of the video, Natasa adds, “Badshah is crazy, fun, caring and the shoot was a party! I love the song and you will soon see me dubsmashing the same.” A YouTube sensation, this song video with Diljit Dosanj Proper Patola garnered more than 1 million views in less than a week of its release! DJ Waley Babu is the first single from his upcoming music album ONE. Badshah’s foot tapping chart-busters ‘Saturday Saturday’, ‘Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hue Hai’ were songs that have become youth anthems and this song promises the same if not less!
Natasa who recently ended her relationship with boyfriend Aly Goni was advised by Salman to work on her Hindi diction and was even introduced to industry people by the actor. Natas SAYS “Yes, I am aware that Salman has given a boost to the career of many actresses in Bollywood and I am lucky to not remain just an item girl. Thanks to him I have bagged a meaningful role.”
