Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Meets Bishop
Mangaluru: MLA of Mangaluru South Constituency Vedavyas Kamath visited the Bishop’s house at Kodialbail to seek his blessings on May 22.
MLA Vedavyas Kamath was felicitated by Bishop Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza with a shawl and floral bouquet.
Vedavyas along with Capt Ganesh Karnik also visited the Chapel at the Bishop’s house and offered prayers.
Bishop Dr Aloysius blessed the newly elected MLA and wished him success during his tenure.
Capt Ganesh Karnik also sought blessings from the bishop as he will be contesting the upcoming MLC elections scheduled to be held on June 8.
It is learnt that after filing the nominations for the Assembly Elections, Vedavyas Kamath had met Fr Ben Britto and sought his blessings. Fr Ben was very happy to meet Vedavyas after his victory. Fr Ben also blessed Capt Ganesh Karnik and wished him success in the MLC elections.
Monsignor Fr Denis Moras Prabhu, Fr John D’Souza, Felix Albuquerque, Gregory Mathias and others were also present.
