Mangaluru: Sri Niranajan Swamiji Sunkadakatte, founder of Ambika Annapoorneshwari Temple (Saat Rasta, Jacob Circle, Mumbai), Sri Kshetra Sunkadakatte (Bajpe, Mangalore) and SNS Education Trust Sunkadakatte (Mangalore), died in the Mumbai Hospital on 21 May morning following brief illness.
The 88 year old Swamiji was admitted to the hospital at 1:30 am on 21 May with complaints of chest pain. His condition deteriorated and he breathed his last.
According to the Manager of Sunkadakatte Temple, the body of the Swamiji is expected to arrive here on 22 May and the public will be allowed to pay their final rites.
