Mangaluru: One twin Sis is better than the other twin Sis in sports! Their looks and style may differ a little from each other, but they were born on the same date – Hima Shetty and Hita Shetty are proud to be twins and they both study in the same class (VIII A) at Mount Carmel Central School-Mary Hill here.
At the recently held CBSE cluster VII Athletic Meet (3 States – Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) held at Smt PS Shivashankarappa EM Resi School grounds in Davengere, Hima Shetty bagged the first place in 400mts and 800 mts race (Under 14 years category), while her sister Hita won the third place in Discuss Throw, under 16 years (Hita took part in this Discuss Throw event in under 16 years, since this event is not there under 14 years)
Hima Shetty is now qualified for CBSE National Level Athletic Meet. Both these sisters are daughters of Ganesh and Triveni Shetty. Hima and Hita were felicitated here in Mangaluru during the Mount Carmel Annual Sports Day held at Mangala Stadium recently, in the presence of Chief guest Dr Shivendra Pratap Singh Tomer-Deputy Commandant CISF, Mangaluru; Sr Melissa AC-Principal, Sr Carissima AC- Administrator, Sr Snehal AC-Vice Principal, and Praveen Kumar- Physical Director of Mount Carmel Central school.

A note to the author of the article..why would you start the article by saying that one sis is better than the other? Just because one came first and the other third. They both did great. Please account for the fact that the categories they participated in were different age categories.
