Mangaluru: Vincent Shanthakumar New Addl SP, DCP Vishnuvardhan Posted to Shivamogga

Mangaluru: The state government on Tuesday promoted five DySPs to the grade of superintendent of police and transferred them.

Among them is Vincent Shantha Kumar, hailing from Chitradurga, who will take over the post of additional superintendent of police of Dakshina Kannada.

The others are:

J B Manjunath, additional SP ATC state intelligence
K H Jagadish, SP Lokayukta, Bengaluru
G Ram Nayak, SP Lokayukta, Bengaluru
S Maheshwarappa, DCP, state intelligence

N Vishnuvardhan, until now DCP of Mangaluru city, has been posted to Shivamogga as additional SP.

Besides, N D Birje – DCP crime and traffic in Mysuru, P A Koravar – additional SP in Kolar, C K Baba – DCP traffic in Bengaluru and Jayaprakash – additional SP in Kalaburagi have also been transferred.
