Mangaluru: A woman and her child were injured when they were crossing the road near Nanthoor, Padua here on January 14.
The injured have been identified as mother and daughter Bharathi (30) and Prakruthi (3).
According to the police, the Bharathi was crossing the road with her child near Koragajja Gudi, Nanthoor. A motorbike going from Nanthoor to Padua side with two persons on it at high speed hit them, causing serious injuries. The woman and child were taken to the A J Hospital. The bike rider and pillion have also sustained minor injuries.
The bike rider and pillion work as salesmen in an automobile showroom in the city.
It is learnt that the condition of the child is critical.
A case has been registered in the Kadri Police Station.
