Mani Ratnam’s ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’ first look poster released
Chennai, July 7 (IANS) The much anticipated Mani Ratnam’s next Tamil directorial has been titled “Kaatru Veliyidai”, and its makers unveiled the first look poster on Thursday.
Starring Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari, the poster gives a glimpse of the chemistry the lead actors will share in the film.
Also evident in the poster are a few war aircraft, flying doves and Kashmir border, and one wonders if this a love story with a war backdrop.
Ratnam will be reportedly filming the first schedule of the movie in Kashmir.
In the film, which has music by A.R. Rahman, Karthi plays a pilot and Aditi will be seen as a doctor.
The film will be jointly produced by Madras Talkies and Thenandal Films.
