Los Angeles, Jan 30 (IANS) Singer Mariah Carey and her billionaire fiance James Packer made their first red carpet appearance here since they got engaged just a week ago.
The couple seemed to be going strong as they couldn’t keep their hands off each other while attending an event on Thursday, reports aceshowbiz.com.
They were all smiles while posing for photographers on the red carpet.
Carey wore a simple sparkling floor-length dress which flaunted her enviable figure, while Packer opted for a dapper look wearing a black suit atop a white shirt.
Though the “Hero” singer wore minimal make-up and let her straight hair flow naturally, she looked stunning. Also stealing people’s attention was her huge 35-carat engagement ring, which was reportedly worth $8 million.
Packer proposed to Carey on January 21 during a private dinner with close friends at Eleven Madison Park in New York City.
The two, who have been friends for years, got engaged after eight months of dating.
