Masked men Attack Youth in Kasba Bengre
Mangaluru: One person is critical and two others have been injured when a group of masked men attacked three youth with sharp weapons at Kasba Bengre late night on April 8.
The injured have been identified as Anveez (17), Siraj and Irshad from Kasba Bengre.
On April 8 late night Anveez, Siraj and Irshad were returning home from Tannirbavi on a two-wheeler. When they reached near the football ground a group of six persons wearing a mask attacked them with weapons. In the assault, Anveez was severely injured while Siraj and Irshad were able to escape from the spot with the injuries. Siraj immediately called and informed his friends about the incident, Siraj’s friends reached the spot and admitted Siraj and Irshad to A J Hospital.
While some fishermen who were passing by noticed Anveez injured and lying on the football ground, they rushed him to the hospital.
A case has been filed in the Panambur police station and the investigation is on.
