‘Maximum Miniature Paintings on A4 Sheet’, Mangaluruean Ganesh Shenoy Enters India Book of Records
Mangaluru: Ganesh Kelagina Beedu Shenoy from Mangaluru has entered the prestigious India Book of Records for his artwork “Maximum miniature paintings on a single A4 sized sheet”.
He has created 1029 miniature paintings, with 775 miniature paintings sized 1cm × 0.5cm and the remaining 254 paintings sized 1cm × 1cm, drawn on a single A4 paper card using color pencils and acrylic colors.
Ganesh is the son of veteran artist and Lalit Kala Academy award winner Late K Pundalik Shenoy. His mother Late Padmini Shenoy was also a noted artist.
Ganesh Shenoy is working for Sodexo in Qatar. Right from his childhood he was interested in painting and has secured many prizes/recognitions.
He has painted and exhibited hundreds of paintings on Jesus Christ. Last year one of his painting on Lord Jesus Christ was featured in “L’Osservatore Romano” – the newspaper of the Vatican City.
