He further said, “Earlier maintenance was not done for the public toilets. After Kavitha Sanil become the chairman of the Health committee, she has taken the initiative and has been visiting all the places having public toilet facilities and renovating them. After I have become the chairman of the health committee, I have visited all the places having public toilet facilities and started to renovate them. For publicity, some persons have levelled allegations on the health committee of not taking care of the public toilets. There are altogether 23 public toilets, which will be renovated before I complete my tenure”.

The MCC has given the contract to Asatha Foundation for maintenance. The total cost to renovate this public toilet facility is Rs 6 lakh which was borne by the Aastha Foundation. There are 8 toilets, 6 for men and two for women bathing facility is also available.
