MbC, KCCI and Rotary Club hold ‘Ride for Traffic Awareness’

Mangaluru: “Ride for Traffic Awareness” bicycle rally was held on 16 February 2020. The rally was jointly organised by Mangalore Bicycle Club, Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Rotary Club of Mangalore.

About 180 Cyclists participated in the event. The 10 kms ride was flagged off at Mangala Stadium and went through Urva Store- Urva Market- Mannagudda- Ballalbagh- PVS- Bunts Hostel- Navabharath circle, – Sri Venkatramana Temple square – Car street- Mannagudda and culminated at Canara High School Urva Grounds.

Isaac Vas, President KCCI, Rtn Jathin Attavar, President, Rotary Club of Mangalore, Dijaraj Nair, President, MBC were present. Lal Goel, Chairman, Organ Donation Foundation India spoke on organ donation on the occasion.

A Memorandum on Traffic improvements to be submitted to the Deputy Commissioner was read on the Occasion. We had also quizzed the participants on traffic rules and signs and winners were rewarded with goodies.
