MCC Demolishes Illegal Shop at Kankanady
Mangaluru: An illegal fruits and Vegetable shop has been demolished by the Mangaluru City Corporation at Kankanady here on August 29.
On August 30, officials of MCC along with the help of the police demolished the illegal shop selling vegetables and fruits at Kankanady.
From many years the fruit and vegetable shop was running illegally. There was a dispute between the shop owner and the MCC which was in the court. The MCC had several times warned the shop owner to vacate but he did not heed to their warning.
The shop owner had appealed to the court but the court ruled in favour of MCC and ordered to demolish the building. On August 29, the MCC officials with the help of the JCB demolished illegal shop at the side of Kankanady bus stand.
