MCC Elections, BJP Releases Manifesto ‘Namma Kudla BJPya Sankalpa- Live
Mangaluru: The Bharatiya Janata Party released its manifesto “Namma Kudla BJPya Sankalpa“, for the MCC elections at the BJP office here on November 6.
Addressing the mediapersons Sanjeev Matandoor said, “This manifesto has been prepared after taking suggestions and opinion of the public as well as media representatives. We received a number of suggestions about the roads, traffic congestion, drinking water problems etc. We are committed to solve all the problems and also make Namma Kudla a corruption free city. Mangaluru is known as a education and medical hub, priority will also be given to tourism.”
Sanjeeva Matandoor further said, “When the BJP was in power in the state and in MCC, the then CM Yeddyurappa had sanctioned Rs 200 crores for the development of roads and in Mangaluru we Concretised the roads. But after the Congress came to power they did not give priority to develop the roads. Without a proper auto stand, auto drivers face problems. Basic facilities will be provided for senior citizens. To solve traffic congestion, ring road will be constructed. Satellite bus stops will be constructed in the City.”
Sanjeeva also said, “In the Centre we have the BJP government, led by Modi, and in the State we have the BJP government led by B S Yeddyurappa. We want the BJP government to rule the MCC too. I request all through the media to vote for the BJP in the coming MCC elections”.
MLAs Vedavyas Kamath and Dr Bharath Shetty, Capt Ganesh Karnik, Kastuti Panja, Yogish Bhat, Monappa Bhandary and others were also present.
