MCC Elections on Nov 12, Local Body Elections in 14 Cities in State Announced
Bengaluru: The State election commission has announced the date for the Local Body Elections in 14 cities in the state on October 20.
The Local body elections will be held on November 12 in Mangaluru City Corporation and other 13 cities in the state.
In all the 14 cities there will be 1388 polling booths and 13,04,614 voters will cast their votes.
The election code of conduct will be in force from October 20, today.
On October 24, the Deputy Commissioner will issue the notification. October 31 will be the last date to submit the Nominations. On November 2, the nominations will be scrutinized and those who are willing to withdraw their nominations can do it by November 4.
The limit for the expenditure of each candidate is Rs 3 lakhs.
