MCC Taskforce Visits Persons Under Home Quarantine
Mangaluru: After Dakshina Kannada district gets its first Coronavirus positive case, the district administration has taken various measures to prevent the virus from spreading further.
On March 26, twenty teams consisting of three members each have identified the Houses of Home quarantine persons in Mangaluru and pasted stickers on their doors. The ministry of Aviation has provided data of all the passengers. Based on the arrival of the passengers, labels mentioning their quarantine time are stuck on their doors. The task force is working hard to monitor the home quarantine persons and their adherence to the guidelines.
Speaking to mangalorean.com Zonal in-charge of COVID-19 Taskforce, Madhu S Manohar said, “We have formed 40 teams that work in odd and even days. Twenty teams will visit houses of home quarantine persons on odd days and twenty teams on even days and paste stickers on their house doors mentioning quarantine details”.
