MDMA Tablets Worth Rs 1 4.94 Lakh Seized from Student in Manipal
Udupi: In a major crackdown on drug peddling in the city, the ISD team and Manipal Police have arrested a student from a reputed college in Manipal and seized MDMA tablets worth Rs 14.94 lakhs on October 4.
The arrested has been identified as Yuvamshu Joshi (20), a seventh-semester student of Instrumentation and Control (I&C).
According to the police the ISD team and Manipal Police arrested the accused near Shimbra bridge and seized 498 MDMA (also known as Ecstasy) tablets, a two-Wheeler and a mobile phone from the accused.
