Meet the ‘Mr/Mrs/Miss Billava 2019’ of the First Billava Beauty Pageant of Karnataka
Mangaluru : Addressing the media person during a press meet held at Mangaluru Press Club, “Mrs Mangalore 2018″winner Ms Sudheeksha Kiran, the organizer of this Billava 2019 Beauty Pageant said, ” The pageant was organized in association with ‘Biruver kudla’ NB group and Hunger free Karnataka. The grand finale of the the very first Billava Beauty pageant of Karnataka was held recently at the prestigious BMS Hotel on Sunday 26,May 2019 amid much fanfare. The event was inaugurated by the MLA of Mangalore North Constituency Dr. Bharath Shetty; and the MLA of Mangalore South Constituency Vedavyas Kamath graced the occasion as chief guest during the event. Young entrepreneur Kiran Kumar Kodikal and model Nishanth Poojary also graced the event the event”
She further said, “The pageant was held in three separate categories with a total of 36 finalists shortlisted after the auditions vying for the crowns and title Shithil Poojary was crowned “Mr Billava” followed by Ravikanth Poojary as “Ist Runner Up” and Shravan Poojary as “II nd Runner Up”. The “Mrs Billava” crown was bagged by Mrs Akshatha Sudhir with Mrs Ashwini Anchan as Ist Runner Up and Mrs Akshaya Pradeep as II nd runner up. The coveted “Miss Billava” crown was bagged by Ms. Kavya Anchan while Ms.Pammy Prakash Kateel bagged I st runner up and Prajna Poojary bagged the II nd runner up”.
“The event was judged by coastalwood actors Arjun Kapikad, Karishma Amin Anoop Sagar,and renowned model Naveen Billava. Mrs Soujanya Hegde, renowned anchor was felicitated during the event. The highlight of the event was the launch of the logo of an NGO “Sthree” run by the three winners of “Mrs Mangalore 2018″, namely, Ms Sudheeksha Kiran, Ms Hera Pinto and Dr Angelita Lewis. The spectacular event was anchored by Nithesh Poojary Marnad” added Ms Kiran. The four winners were present during the press meet.
