#MeToo: Mumbai police files a rape case against Alok Nath
Bengaluru: A month after the complaint accusing of rape was filed against actor Alok Nath, the Mumbai police has registered a case under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) on Wednesday.
Vinta Nanda, a writer and co-founder of The Third Eye, on a Facebook post on October 8, had levelled charges against Nath.
In the post, Nanda says in detail how Nath repeatedly harassed the lead actress of Tara, resulting in a long-winded issue in the show where the producers repeatedly made demands of her and the writing team and went on to describe how the person later.
Nath on October 15 filed a civil suit in a Mumbai court against Nanda and sought Re 1 as damages for allegedly defaming him following which Nanda registered the police complaint on October 17.
