Mangaluru International Airport Customs Officials Seize Gold Worth Rs 20.67 Lakh-Passenger Arriving from Gulf Arrested
Mangaluru: As per tweeter of Mangalore International Airport Customs Department, a passenger arriving from Gulf, who was trying to smuggle gold through the Mangaluru International Airport was arrested by the custom officials on June 22. The value of the confiscated gold from the passenger is worth around Rs 20.67 lakh.

The passenger had stuffed the said 24 carat pure gold in paste form inside his rectum, and the weight of the seized gold is 608 grams. More investigation is done on the arrested person by the custom officials, who will be produced before the judge.
