London, April 23 (IANS) Actress Michelle Keegan has jetted off to Dubai with a group of friends for her bachelorette party ahead of her wedding to Mark Wright.
The actress fully embraced the hen theme with a customised t-shirt, glasses and novelty veil as she arrived for her flight at the airport with her friends and family, reports dailymail.co.uk.
Joining Keegan on the trip was her former “Coronation Street” co-star Brooke Vincent, her mother Jackie and best friends Katie Fearnehough and Becky, who organised the hen party.
Also in attendance was her future sister-in-law Jessica Wright, who shared a photograph on the plane on her photo-sharing application Snapchat profile.
While the 27-year-old was wearing a white ‘bride to be’ T-shirt, with her nickname ‘Keegs’ on the back, her friends were all in fuchsia t-shirts emblazoned with the words ‘Shell’s Girls’ across their chest.
Meanwhile, Keegan’s mother Jackie wore a pink top reading “I can’t keep calm, I’m the mother of the bride!”
It appeared there were even more friends waiting for her in the departures lounge after the actress tweeted a photograph of herself with 26 friends, captioning the image: “Essex and Manchester… join forces! #crew.”
The trip to the Middle East is just one of several hen celebrations Michelle is having in the run-up to her nuptials next month.
In a recent interview with British television programme “This Morning”, Michelle had admitted she was nervous about what her friends had in store for her.
Dubai has fond memories for Michelle as the couple got engaged in the UAE in September 2013.
Mark and Michelle started dating in December 2012 after meeting on a New Year’s holiday and are due to wed in Norfolk next month.
