Minister Kagodu Thimappa to Distribute Land Title Deeds to Applicants on Sept 14 at Mudipu – U T Khader
Mangaluru: The Land Title Deeds will be distributed to 2000 applicants on September 14 at Mudipu college grounds by the Revenue Minister Kagodu Thimappa. After 12 years this is the first time more than 2000 people will receive the title deeds. We have received 3000 applications under 94 C and 6642 applications under 94 CC. The Congress government has given an opportunity to the people to have their title deeds and they should utilize this scheme. The applicants under 94 CC general category should pay Rs 1000 for 1200 sq ft, 2000 for 2400 sq ft and Rs 3000 for 4000 to 5000 sq ft and for SC/ST half the price for the land,” said the minister for Food and Civil Supplies U T Khader in a press meet held at the Circuit House here on September 12.
Addressing the mediapersons U T Khader said, “Under 94 C, applicants belonging to the general category should pay Rs 10000 for 1200 sq ft and Rs 5000 for SC/ST. Those who have built houses before 1991, which come under CRZ will get the land title deeds. Some people refuse to pay the amount and are refusing to take the title deeds. This is a golden opportunity for the applicants who have applied for government land under 94 C and 94 CC.”

Under Anila Bhagya the government has decided to give two gas cylinder refills along with the Stove and connection for beneficiaries free of cost. The poor normally use two or three gas cylinders per year.
Installing Point of sale machines in Fair Price Shops
There are 22000 fair price shops in the state and only 60% of the shops have installed POS. In Yadgiri 45%, Bellary 80% and Dakshina Kannada 96.33% POS machines have been installed. Those who have not installed POS machines will not get another chance. Instead, the government has signed an agreement with the Centrally approved company which will install the POS machines. Under this, the company will get Rs 70 and the Fair price shop owner will get only Rs 7. The amount will be deducted from his commission. We have given all the Fair Price owners time until the end of the month to install the POS machines. In Ullal all the fair price shops have already installed the POS machines.”
Congress leaders Mamatha Gatti, Santhosh Kumar Shetty, Mohammed Mukkacheri, Mustafa, Abbas and others were also present.
