Minister Khader Inaugurates Residential Building for A-grade Officers of Zilla Panchayat
Mangaluru: The District Minister In-charge and also the Minister for Housing and Urban Development U T Khader inaugurated the Residence Building for “A” grade Officers of DK Zilla Panchayat near the Tulu Bhavana, Urwa Stores here on September 26.
The minister unveiled the plaque and later inaugurated the building by cutting the ribbon.
Addressing the mediapersons U T Khader said, “Today we have inaugurated the residential building for A grade officers at Urva Stores. All basic facilities are provided in this building. Those who are working as A grade officers in the Zilla Panchayat will get housing facilities in this building. This building will accommodate the CEO, joint secretary, Chief Accountant and other officers. In the coming days, we will construct houses for government officers as well as the staff. When we provide housing for the officers, they will be able to work with enthusiasm.”
The building has been constructed in 50 cents of land with 6201.25 sq ft per floor. The building has 6 apartments with car parking, Security room, Panel room etc. Each floor has 2 apartments ground + 2 with 8 passenger capacity lift and 62.5 KVA Generator. The total cost of the residential building is Rs 4.83 crore.
District Collector Sasikanth Senthil, ADC Kumar, ZP CEO Dr Selwamani, ZP President Meenakshi Shantigodu, Vice-president Kasturi Panja and others were also present.
