Minister Pramod Madhwaraj offers ‘Selfie Bhagya’ to beneficiaries of Janamana programme!

Udupi: As the assembly elections are nearing, the Congress government in the state is busy with reaching out to the people. Janamana is a programme format designed by the Department of Information to interact with the beneficiaries of different schemes implemented by the government.

A Janmana programme was organised at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Auditorium where District Minister  in-charge Pramod Madhwaraj interacted with the beneficiaries of the various schemes. Vedavathi who is into dairy farming expressed her gratitude to the government for crediting rupees 5 for 1 litre of milk. She said that the programme was vital in promoting self-employment among women.

As she was to conclude her speech she said that she was the follower of Pramod Madhwaraj and the Janmana programme helped her to meet him. She also asked Madhwaraj to pose to a selfie for which Pramod readily agreed. Pramod later said that he was not aware of having many followers.
