Minister Pramod Madhwaraj pays fine for Riding Motorbike without Helmet!
Udupi: A jolly bike ride by Udupi district in-charge minister Pramod Madhwaraj without wearing the helmet attracted criticism on the social media recently. The minister spent a few minutes riding the motorbike without wearing the helmet when he arrived at Karje to participate in an event.
The minister rode the bike without the helmet for a few minutes in the presence of the police and the video of the same went viral on WhatsApp attracting sharp criticism by the social media users.
After the video and his photo of riding the motorbike without wearing the helmet went viral, Pramod Madhwaraj personally met the Brahmavar Police and paid the fine amount of Rs 100 for riding the bike without the helmet.
