Minister Pramod Madhwaraj writes to Home Minister requesting additional security
Udupi: The Udupi district minister in-charge Pramod Madhwaraj has asked the state home department for additional security for his safety.
According to the sources, Mangalorean.com has learnt that the minister has sent a request letter to Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy and asked for additional security, citing threats to his safety. In his letter, Pramod has written that he needs to travel to different places for election campaign and other work. Though he did not mention any details of the threats in the letter.
Home minister Ramalinga Reddy has forwarded Pramod’s letter to the Home department and instructed to act immediately in this regard.
When team Mangalorean contacted Pramod Madhwaraj he said, “I have written a letter to the Home minister requesting additional security. We are travelling everywhere for the election campaign and we should take care of our life”.
