Minister Pramod’s Fish meal factory catches fire, no Injuries
Udupi: Raj Fish Net factory Malpe which is owned by Pramod Madhwaraj district minister in charge caught fire on Tuesday, October 3 evening.
According to the fire officials, the fire broke out in the evening due to electrical short-circuit in a boiler. Many employees were present in the factory at the time of the incident. The employees were Immediately evacuated from the premises. The fire tenders who were immediately pressed into service completely extinguished the fire.
As per a factory official, material worth lakhs of Rupees was gutted in the fire. No injuries were reported.
