Minor Girl Elopes with Minor Boy, Returns Home Pregnant
Bantwal: A 14-year-old girl returned home after she had eloped with a 16-year-old boy.
According to the police, some months ago, the minor girl eloped with a 16-year-old boy who is her relative. But the parents did not file any missing person complaint at the police station.
Recently when the girl returned home, her mother took her to the hospital for a medical check-up. During the check-up, it was revealed that the girl was two months pregnant.
The Hospital administration has counselled the girl. The boy is absconding.
A case has been registered in the Vittal police station under the POCSO act and search is on for the boy.
