Missing Karkala Town PS Head Constable Found Dead in Well
Udupi: A missing police head constable from Karkala Town police station who went missing on October 19 was found dead in a well near Pulkeri, Karkala on October 23.
The deceased is Shruthin Shetty (35) from Kaup. He had reportedly called his wife on October 19 at 7:30 pm saying that he was returning home and that he was in Nandikoor. His phone was later found switched off. His wife Pooja Shetty had filed a complaint about his missing at the Padubidri Police Station.
On October 23 morning, Shruthin’s Body was found in an open well at Pulkeri under the Karkala Town Police Station limits.
The Karkala Town Police have registered a case of unnatural death in this connection and the Investigation is on.
Shrutin Shetty joined the police department in 2008 and before two months was promoted. He was posted as Head Constable for the Karkala Town Police Station.
