Missing Sharjah teen found in Dubai
Dubai: The missing Sharjah-based Indian teenager Ameya Santosh, who disappeared on November 22, 2019, has finally been found, revealed family sources.
The teen was found in Dubai’s La Mer at 4 pm.
“He is a little weak, but he is fine,” said a family friend Lekha Menon.
“Thanks to his school, DPS Sharjah, we received a lead confirming that he was spotted near La Mer. There was an angel, a Grade 12 boy named Raunith, who found him,” added Menon.
The senior student approached Ameya, spoke to him, and took him to the closest McDonalds to buy him food, added Menon.
“His rescuer is an angel. The older boy alerted Ameya’s dad Santosh and we rushed to collect him,” she said.
The family is now on their way – at the time of filing this report – to cancel their complaint with Sharjah Police.
