MIT Kundapur to hold National level Workshop and Championship on Computer Networking
Udupi: A national level two day workshop on “Computer Networking” will be held at Moodlakatte Institute of Technology Kundapur on 20th and 21st of October 2016 said Prof. Melwin D’Souza HOD of the Computer science and Engineering department. He was speaking at a press meet held at the press club here on Monday, October 3.
The workshop will be organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Certified by the IIT – Hyderabad. The workshop championship will be conducted on the second day of the workshop. A representative from the IIT-Hyderabad will visit as a resource person and examiner to conduct the workshop and championship. Three students will be selected to the final round of the Championship which will be held at IIT-Hyderabad.
HOD of the Computer science and Engineering, Prof. Melwin D’ Souza said “Nowadays every field is Internet oriented and computer networking is converted as the main subject. The main intention of the workshop is to provide a platform to gain practical knowledge on networking and to learn the recent environment in the IT industries. Computer science department of MIT, Kundapur has organized several workshops on recent technologies to make the students technically strong.”
MIT, Kundapur is selected as the Zonal Centre of IIT-Bhubaneshwar and IIT-Hyderabad to conduct national level workshops and this achievement shows the development of the institute. The workshop is open to B.E., M.Tech., MCA , M.Sc(CS) and Diploma Students. Only 60 Students can register to participate in the Workshop.
