MITK celebrates Engineers’ day
Kundapur: The Moodakatte Institute of Technology Kundapur celebrated the Engineers’ Day at the College campus on September 15.
Manjunath Nairy Rtd Executive Engineer PWD who was the Chief Guest garlanded the statue of Sir M Visvesvaraya.
In his inaugural speech Manjunath Nairy cited Sir M Visvesvaraya’s noble values and called upon the students to be honest and fight for a corruption free India.
Principal Mohan Bhat S, in his speech said that if we engineers be at least 10% effective as Sir M Visvesvaraya then we have achieved something in our life.
On the same day, the Civil Engineering Department also organized the Engineer’s day and conducted Prastuti –Paper presentation Competition on Emerging Trends in Engineering and Technology”.
Prizes were distributed to the winners: “Advika” Newsletter capturing the activities of the Civil Department was released on this occasion.
HOD’s of various departments, faculty and students were present on the occasion.
Amrutha Prabhu and Rolita of V Sem Civil compered the programme, whereas Archana Bhat of 7th sem Civil Department welcomed the gathering and Kiran Galave delivered the vote of thanks.
A technical session on the Virtual lab was conducted at the Institute.
