Modi Acting like a Dictator – KPCC Chief Dinesh Gundu Rao
Udupi: Comparing the administration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to a Dictator, KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao said that Modi is not in a position to listen to the suggestions or advises of others because he is claiming that he is right. The KPCC Chief was speaking to the media persons at Thenka Yermal on Wednesday, December 19.
Addressing the media persons Dinesh Gundu Rao said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been taking unilateral decisions without listening to others due to which the problems are increasing. There are influential leaders in the Congress Party who have been directing the Congress leaders from all over the country. But there is no other leader except Modi in the BJP. If there are any leaders in the BJP they are neglected. Nobody can talk in the party except Modi and Amit Shah. Modi has sidelined all the senior leaders like L K Advani, Yashwant Sinha, Prahlad Joshi etc and has projected himself as the sole leader to gain popularity”, he said.
Dinesh Gundu Rao further said, “The Congress and JD(S) party will contest the 2019 Lok Sabha Polls together and expect to win at least 20 seats in the state. In 2013 the BJP had won the elections in the name of Rama and Religion but this time BJP’s Gimmick will not work. In the recent elections in five states, the Congress won in three states and two states were won by other parties. The BJP is losing its popularity in the country”.
Udupi district Congress president Janardhan Tonse, Former ministers Vinay Kumar Sorake, Pramod Madhwaraj, former MLA Gopal Bandary, Congress leaders Gopal Bandary, Rakesh Malli, Mamatha Gatti and others were present.
