Modi Government Ruining the country by Manufacturing Lies – Dinesh Gundu Rao
Byndoor/Kundapur: “Modi government is ruining the country by manufacturing lies, the rise in prices of essential commodities are at peak but they are busy on buying legislators by spending in millions”, said KPCC Working President Dinesh Gundu Rao. He was speaking at the Congress party workers convention of Byndoor and Kundapur Legislative Assembly here on August 1.
Addressing the party workers Dinesh Gundu Rao said, “BJP is playing politics over dead bodies by dividing Hindus and Muslims. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is targeted for no reasons. The Congress party should be strengthened at the booth level, the schemes and development of the State government should be made aware to the people”.
District Minister In-charge Pramod Madhwaraj said that the party workers should strive hard to create awareness of the state government’s achievements. The state government has given BPL cards to the people, free LPG connections, Rupees 1.50 lakh is given for construction of houses, Rs 82 thousand is given for the construction of wells and Rs 42 thousand for the construction of cow shelters. The government is effectively promoting welfare in the state. The Congress party is utilising the youth for the development of the country, he added.
AICC Observer P C Vishnunath in his message said that the Siddaramaiah-led government has fulfilled 90% of the promises made during the elections four years ago. However, the Modi government has not fulfilled even 25% of the promises it made before the elections in the last three years. This is enough to state that the Karnataka government is far better than the Modi government, he said and added that the workers of the party could approach the voters proudly, given the programmes and schemes launched by the Congress government.
The BJP was interested in gaining votes by dividing people along the lines of religion. He called upon Congress workers to engage the public in a dialogue on the achievements of the Congress government in comparison with that of the Narendra Modi government at the Centre.
Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation President and Byndoor MLA K Gopal Poojary delivered the keynote address. MLC Pratapchandra Shetty, KPCC General Secretary Gopal Bhandary, Minorities Development Corporation President M A Gafoor, KPCC General Secretary U R Sabhapathy, KPCC Secretary Veronica Cornelio, Amrith Shenoy, Malyadi Shivaram Shetty and others were present.
Under the RSS rule of India, everything is getting too expensive and ruthless taxation through every front, along with that an ideologically fragmented nation. Safronization of the nation is the primary agenda, human life has no value but the cows are the electorate of India.
Congress and the opposition parties should make people aware of the damage caused to the economy by Modi. Poor farmers have been ruined by demonetization. Now GST is destroying small businesses in India. Look at some of the GST rules. The government will not allow Input Tax Credit on GST paid to vendors if the vendors do not pay their own taxes.
