Modi Insulted Indians in US, Nudidanthe Nade Modiji by creating Jobs – Rahul
Youth Icon Rahul Gandhi gets Rousing Welcome at Dr Ambedkar Circle, Jyothi
Mangaluru: The AICC President and youth icon Rahul Gandhi arrived at the Dr Ambedkar Circle, Jyothi here on March 20.
The roadshow Janaashirvad Yatra was flagged off by Rahul Gandhi. Later Rahul Gandhi along with the Congress leaders including CM Siddaramaiah marched in a procession which culminated at the Nehru Maidan.
The district minister in-charge Ramanath Rai, Minister for Food and Civil supplies U T Khader, MLA J R Lobo and other leaders welcomed Rahul Gandhi at the Dr Ambedkar Circle, Jyothi.
The programme began with an invocation. District Minister in-charge Ramanath Rai welcomed the gathering.
Rahul Gandhi addressed the gathering and said, “Nikleg matheregla Namaskara”. Rahul Gandhi said, “They will buy the ministers with money to gain power. They lies at every step. There is a difference between Congress and the BJP. The president of BJP is accused of murder. The entire world knows, that for the power BJP will go to any extent”.
Rahul Gandhi further said, “In Meghalay, Manipur, Arunachalam the BJP has bribed the MLAs to form the government. BJP is dividing the country for power. Modiji comes and tells lies one after another. There is a difference between the Congress and the BJP and the people of this country are aware that the BJP is running behind the power. The BJP president Amit Shah is not less, there is an accusation of murder on his head. BJP will stoop to any level for power. The Congress fights for justice and people of this country are aware of it. Fifteen lakh Rupees will be credited to the account of each one of you, make me the prime minister had said Modi. Nudidanthe Nade Modiji. We have great people like Basavanna, Narayana Guru, Rani Abbakka, Koti Chennaya.in Karnataka, they are your people and they have not only showed the way to Karnataka or India but they are popular in the world. If the youth of Karnataka have gone to Silicon valley and started their companies, the president of USA can say that India is challenging America. It is not a small issue, America is a super power. President of USA says that if any country can challenge America they are India and China.”
Rahul also said, “PM Modi is going to America and delivering speeches saying that from the last 70 years there has been no development in India. Who is he insulting? Modiji is insulting your parents, your grandparents, he is insulting those who purchased IIT, constructed HAL, who are these people, they are Indians. They have sacrificed their lives to make the dreams of crores of our youth to come true. According to Modiji, there was no Basavanna, Rani Abbakka, Narayana Guru in our country, only Modi is here. Modiji assured to create 2 crore jobs every year but how many youths have got jobs. From the last 4 years, India has witnessed the highest unemployment. “Nudidanthe Nade” Modiji. Congress has made the banks reach to every village but what has Modi done? Modi did not like the Rs 500 and 1000 currency notes, so on November 8, 2016, he banned these notes. All the people stood in queues but from the back doors, Modi’s friends entered the bank and exchanged their money. Deals were done in Air condition rooms. The small traders lost their businesses. In the history of India for the first time, such a huge scam took place. Neerav Modi who is close to Modiji, took Rs 22,000 crores from the bank and our watchman did not utter a single word. Amit Shah’s son made a profit of Rs 80,000 crores in three months starting his business with only Rs 50,000 but our watchman did not say anything.”
Criticizing PM Modi’s attitude, Rahul said, “BJP is the voice of an organization but Congress is the voice of the entire country. BJP will do anything for the Organization but Congress will do any sacrifice for the people. Once I met the PM at his office and said, you have waived the loan of 15 super-rich men, why don’t you waive the loan of the poor farmers? He never replied. I asked the same question to CM Siddaramaiah, Dr Parameshwar and Mallikarjuna Kharge. Within 10 days, CM Siddaramaiah waived Rs 8000 crore loan of the farmers. Rs 3 lakh loan has been given to the farmers without any security. We did not give any speech but we knew that the farmers needed our help and we helped them. Farmers are the backbone of the country and it is our duty to safeguard their rights. We are not giving any gift but we are performing our duties. The Congress government is distributing 7 kgs of rice to the poor families. We did not ask anyone to vote for us, nor have we said, “make us the CM and we will work for you”, but we worked for you. We waived the loan, distributed rice and now we have started the Indira canteen so that people of Karnataka have tasty food. We did not ask anyone to elect us promising them of providing Indira Canteens. We are working for you and I am here for you. In Gujarat, 90% of the Colleges and Universities have been privatised and given in the hands of the richest people. I have campaigned for three months in Gujarat, at that time one of the youth said that we have to pay Rs 15 lakhs for a seat. If we don’t pay we will not get the seat. In the next elections, the Congress government will come to power. The way we have fulfilled our promises we will continue the same two-fold.”
“Modi is touring the country and delivering speeches on corruption. I have already said that the BJP is a party for power. Modi is delivering speeches on corruption and at the same time, he makes the person who spent time in jail for corruption as the CM and sits next to him. Modi is thinking that people are not aware of it. The youth of this country trusted Modiji so that he would create jobs for them. From four years people of this country have understood Modi. Only one year is remaining with you. Start creating jobs Modiji, you said make in India but has flopped, start-up India flopped, swacch Bharat flop show. In one year do something and prove yourself. This country is not running on speeches or lies, this is the country of Narayana Guru and Basavanna. I would like to thank all of you for coming here. I know that the party workers are striving hard for the party. I have already advised CM Siddaramaiah and Venugopal to give ticket after hearing the voice of the party workers. You should fight the elections not with anger or enmity but with love you need to defeat the BJP and I am sure you will do it. BJP will use bad words against you, they will defame you but you will speak with love and unitedly you will defeat the BJP”.
CM Siddaramaiah and KPCC President Dr G Parameshwar also spoke on the occasion. Ministers Pramod Madhwaraj, Mallikarjuna Kharge and U T Khader, MLAs J R Lobo, Moideen Bava, Shakuntala Shetty, President DCC Harish Kumar, Mayor Bhaskar, Chief whip Ivan D’Souza, Vishnunath, Venugopal and others were also present.
